What people say

Sophie Minchilli
"One of those restaurants where it actually feels like you are eating in someone's home. Ring the doorbell and you will be seated in one of the two dining rooms. Most tables get a view of the kitchen where they are cooking simple homey dishes inspired by the local farmer's recipes: fave e cicorie (fava bean puree and bitter greens) and pezzetti di cavaddhru (horse meat stew in tomato sauce)"
Chelsea Papa
"Old-school restaurant run by three sisters in historic Lecce. Enjoy a home cooked meal in an intimate setting. Try the fava bean puree with wild chicory , la taiedda (baked dish of sliced potatoes, courgettes and mussels) and pittule (deep-fried balls of sweetness made in November for the feast of San Martino). "
"A slow food favorite with down-home cooking at an excellent price. No frills or fancy decor, just an honest little trattoria. A great way to get a taste for local flavour with quality ingredients "
