"Gallipoli is a popular seaside town with a charming historic center and delicious seafood fresh from the sea. The crowds here aren’t quite as bad as Otranto, but it does get busy and takes on a party atmosphere at the beach in peak season. Spending an evening in the old town is enough to get a feel for Gallipoli.
Avoid and ignore the ugly old town and park near the bridge which joins old and new towns.

"The little point that pierced the Sea, Gallipoli has stunning views of the Adriatic and is surrounded by some of the best beaches in the region.
Fun fact; they still speak a Greek influenced dialect Griko here!"
