"An absolute must when visiting Old San Juan. El Morro was built from the 1500s-1700s. The fort was to protect the island from attackers approaching from sea. El Morro is open 7 days a week 9:30am-4:30pm. Entrance fee is $10 for adults. Children under the age of 15 is free. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes when visiting, there will be a lot of walking. "
