Shakespeare a Synové s.r.o.

Dream Prague
"Now that you have descended Neruda Street, it is time to pick up an inspirational read! Shakespeare and Sons (Shakespeare and Synové) is easily one of the best independent English bookstores you can find in Prague. This family-owned business of three brothers (hence the name), carries a selection of books in all genres in English, French, and other languages. While it might appear small at first, you will soon see they have several other rooms at the back with a beautiful historic cellar reading room one floor down where you can read your favorite book and sip coffee. 📍 Location Very close to the Charles Bridge -- Prague Castle side, just a few steps from where the castle meets Lesser Town. 👌 Extra The cellar's purpose does not end with just reading, it is often used as a venue for various events such as open mic nights, reading clubs, music, art exhibitions, and more. We have a few words from one of the "Sons" for you which you can listen to in the audio below! 😎 Vibe A quiet hidden gem with lots of books, books, books! Nearby ➕ Charles Bridge ➕ Kafka Museum ➕ Lesser Town (Malá Strana) "
