"You can see the waterfall from the road, but it’s well worth parking and doing the short walk up to the bottom of the cascade. If you want to see Bjarnarfoss waterfall up close, there is a road leading up to the farm. The waterfall is on private property, but a parking lot has now been added for those of us who want to hike up to the waterfall."

"Eighty meters. Two tiers. Black basalt columns. Green hills. Bjarnarfoss is gorgeous. The waterfall cascades down high cliffs toward the tiny hamlet of Búðir with its black church. A short (less than one mile), steep, out-and-back trail gets you even closer to falls. A photo stop is absolutely necessary."

"1. Stop
- a nice waterfall visible from the road
- a short walk, a nice environment with trees (which you don't see so much in Iceland - joke: What should I do when I get lost in the forest in Iceland? STAND UP)
- few tourists (time of visit = lunch 12:00) "
