"One of the best beaches in Bocas Del Toro on Bastimentos Island! Caribbean ocean, great white sand beach with turquoise water and a few excellent bar/restaurants. You can rent chairs and umbrellas or bring a beach towel and sit free! If you want to relax there are people offering massages or hair braiding. You can also walk all the way along the beach. Keep your eyes peeled for unique wildlife all around. On the way we saw two sloths and the red frogs the beach is famous for. Sometimes there is volleyball organized, fun waves to learn surfing, and boards for hire on the beach. Getting there: It's a cheap 10 minute boat ride from Bocas Town. Boat info listed below and on map. After arriving by boat, you reach the beach by a well-maintained jungle path. It's $5 to enter. Make sure to check with the boat guys when the last boat leaves the island and get back to Bocas Town before then so you aren't stranded. Always have someone stay near bags on the beach to avoid being robbed (not super common but good to be aware). "
