"This was a favorite of the beaches I visited in Puglia. Located near the region’s southern tip, Cala dell’Acquiviva is an inlet lined with rocky perches for lounging in between dips in the beautiful turquoise water. The cliffs protect the beach from rougher waters beyond it, making this a good option for families with kids. Park along the road wherever you can find a spot. "
"A tiny bay surrounded by rock and vegetation where the water is fresh, clear and turquoise. The area is made up of rocks, some flat and others more irregular and is served by a small bar, which offers the rental of umbrellas and sunbeds. The landscape is truly picturesque and wild, which is why I advise you not to miss this stage!"

"The water is pretty shallow close to the shore and balmy in temperature, though you'll need flip-flops or preferably aqua shoes because of the small pebbles underfoot. Again, there's no sandy beach here and the shoreline is rocky but on the plus side, it means no annoying sand in your clothes and all over your rental car. "
