7 Day Solo Itinerary: Paris, FR
Tips for Solo travelers
I love solo traveling as it pushes me out of my comfort zone. It builds my confidence and that’s something I return home with. That's not to say that all travel plans run smoothly and you often have to problem solve by yourself. I still found that people were helpful, and being alone gave me time and space to immerse myself in Paris. It's a beautiful city that I can't wait to return to.
I felt safe my entire visit in Paris but took the following precautions:
--Always stay in well lit and crowded areas. If I found myself out later and there were less people around, you can always call an Uber.
--Be mindful of your surroundings and don’t flash expensive things around, including phones, especially when on the metro.
--Don't carry your passport around-leave it in your hotel safe. Make a copy just in case anything happens.
--Listen to your intuition, especially when meeting new people.
