"Don't let Gwanaksan's modest size fool you. This mountain offers a challenging hike, especially for beginners. Be prepared with proper hiking boots and consider gloves or hiking sticks to help your climb. While the initial path is relatively flat, the trail soon becomes a series of steep ascents and descents along the rocky ridge. If you're up for a workout, the roller-coaster terrain is sure to reward you with breathtaking panoramic views. Be aware that there is a rock wall you will have to climb. If you want to avoid this, send me a message and I will give you an alternative route. This is probably the mountain I climbed up the most in Seoul. I walked all possible routes leading up the mountain top and I can say that the following one is the best.
