"This tiny tranquil town is known for its fairytale-like setting with a majestic gorge and waterfalls.
If you're driving in, be aware that it's mislabeled on Google Maps. Nesso is right along the road but easy to miss. Look for signs while you approach Orrido di Nesso. Orrido di Nesso is the waterfall, and Ponte Della Civera is the bridge (accessible by foot only). Parking in town is limited, so you may have to park outside of town and walk in from there.
When you arrive, you’ll find signs that direct you to the base of the waterfalls down a long set of uneven, rocky stairs. The area at the bottom is a popular swimming spot with the locals.
If you don't have a rental car, choose a boat tour that includes this as a stop.

"must-visit: Nesso is famous for its stunning waterfalls, which are a must-see attraction. The Orrido di Nesso is a deep ravine where the waters of the Tuf and Nosè streams come together, creating an impressive cascade. There's a charming bridge that provides excellent views of the falls. During Summertime everone jumps of the bridge to swim in the lake! If you take the ferry from Como to Bellagio you will make a stop at Nesso too and have amazing views from the boat to see Nesso + the waterfall!"
