What people say

Livio Colapinto
"With over a century of storied history since its opening in central Milan in 1915, this is a real experience for fans of the Italian aperitif tradition and the uninitiated alike. Newly renovated, the two-level venue boasts a terrace with the best view in Milan, looking out on to the square that houses the stunning Duomo cathedral. It’s no secret that Italians love an aperitivo and the terrace is a great spot to settle in the early afternoon with a fluffy orange juice Garibaldi inspired by Dante in New York, or people-watch in the evening with a Negroni in hand. Top-notch hospitality features throughout the venue, with the downstairs Bar di Passo evoking old-school charm through a beautiful wooden bar, chandeliers and a back bar decked out in bottles. Upstairs, the Sala Spiritello is a modern space, more suited to tucking into some of the well-executed food and cocktail pairings."
"Situated off of Cathedral Square in the center of town, you may have noticed this Bar/Caffe when you were exploring and possibly had a coffee there. Camparino is an ode to the Campari and sophisticated Italian drinking culture (morning or night). The first floor Bar di Passo is a beautiful caffe where you can grab a coffee and pastry in the morning and will make you a mean martini or spritz in the afternoon/evening. Upstairs is the glamorous mid-century modern Sala Spiritello bar where you can explore variations of the Negroni and other speciality drinks made with the iconic Campari apertif. A sampling of elevated aperitivo snacks are also included. "
"Campari Bar is a historic bar in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. The bar is known for its classic cocktails, including the Negroni and the Americano. The aperitivo buffet is also excellent, with a variety of Italian dishes. The prices are a bit higher than at some other places, but it is worth it for the experience."
