"Here are the coordinates just in case :) 40.68604° N, 121.41884° W This lava tube cave is located in the Lassen National Forest outside of the park. You will need to bring a flash light but the cave isn’t that long at only 1/3 of a mile. The lava tube doesn’t have multiple caverns so don’t worry about getting lost and it’s easy to navigate. We hiked past a handful of parents with small children who were having a blast running around in the dark. It’s a neat short stop that you could easily spend more time in. "
