🥖 Paris is a paradise for bread lovers. The city boasts around 1,200 bakeries. The average bread consumption in France is about 57 kg per year per person. This can vary depending on eating habits, but bread remains a staple food in the French diet

And if you ask a French person living abroad what they miss most about France, they’ll probably answer: the bread and the cheese :)

The French Bastards

Five locations around Paris. Classic croissants and baked goods as well as mouthwatering pastries! Certainly feels a step above an average boulangerie, and some of their treat are super unique (like a chocolat roule aux pistaches).

Croissant Muffin: Interesting, not my fav. It has no texture of a muffin, just the shape. The croissant dough is a little thicker and tougher than a normal flaky croissant. If you want sugar crystals, I’d get the chouquettes instead.

🥖French Bastards—that's a provocative name that sets the tone right away. This is a modern bakery opened in 2018 by three friends. Today, you can find several locations across Paris. Even though the brand has expanded, the products remain high-quality and original
