Great South Tower
What people say
Wiktoria Górska-Kijanka
"Peter Parler started the tower in the late 14th century, but it wasn’t completed in the Gothic style. The view gallery and helmet were added in the 16th century, with a new dome replacing the old one in the 18th century. The largest bell, Zikmund, weighs about 15 tonnes and was cast in 1549. It requires six bell-ringers to operate: two for the clapper and four for swinging the bell."
