"Perast is a unique place that is also listed on UNESCO's World Heritage List. It is a beautiful place to stay, it is very peaceful as since 2010, the village has been car-free for visitors from May to October. Located on the Bay of Kotor, you have a beautiful view over the bay and can enjoy the lovely architecture, truly idyllic. A charming village with plenty of waterfront restaurants.
I would definitely recommend to stay here in my recommended guest house. Much better than Kotor. "

"1) Our Lady of the Rocks
This tiny island is only 5 mins by boat from the Perast harbour. Return trip was €10 in January, shouldn’t be much higher in high season. It is a very popular destination so expect crowds.
2) Visit one of the many churches like St. Nicholas church or St. Mark’s church.
3) For spectacular views I recommend climbing the flight of stairs next to St. Nicholas Church. "

"Perast is technically another city on the Bay of Kotor, but not hard to get to if you're staying in Kotor. We stopped here on our way out of Kotor to Durmitor National Park. Perast is beautiful, and definitely more for those higher end travelers who like a more sophisticated environment. "
