"The Jajce Fortress, located in the Bosnian town of Jajce, is part of the Old Town complex. Believed to have been built in the 13th century, it features a southwest entrance adorned with the royal coat of arms. Encompassing an area of 11,200 square meters, its walls stretch for 1,300 meters.
Constructed by Hrvoje Vukčić Hrvatinić, founder of Jajce, the fortress served as the seat of kings, evident from the engraved coats of arms within. Perched on an egg-shaped hill, it is strategically protected by the rivers Pliva and Vrbas. The entire area holds geographical and historical significance.
Tickets are priced at 5 KM (approximately 2.5 euros) for entry."
