"The Designmuseum is a museum dedicated to the exhibition and preservation of Danish and international design. This museum has a history dating back to 1890, making it one of the oldest design museums in the world. It was originally established as the "Kunstindustrimuseet" (The Museum of Art and Industry) with the mission of promoting and preserving Danish industrial and applied arts. The museum includes a design library with a collection of books, journals, and archival materials related to design and applied arts. Opening hours: Monday: closed Tuesday to sunday: 10am to 6pm (thursdays to 8pm) Ticket sales close to 45 min. Before closing time. Entrance to the exhibition closes 30 min. Before closing time.
