"Another location not getting too much attention, but great, that's better for us to enjoy and capture it, is Háifoss and its slightly smaller sibling Granni. Especially if you approach Landmannalaugar from the North it is worth going a bit further up North and find F332 to get you to these magnificent waterfalls. The car park gets you right there, basically no hike required. PHOTO TIPS Absolutely bring your wide angle lens to capture both Háifoss and Granni in one frame from the South side of the canyon. As in many places in Iceland there are no guard rails or warning signs so be careful as you are getting near the edge of the canyon to capture the river down in the valley. If you arrive there during midday you may be able to capture a rainbox in the spray of Háifoss."
"EN: You might need to use some F-roads to get here, but the way isn't as tricky, just be careful while driving. DE: Du musst möglicherweise einige F-Straßen benutzen, um hierher zu gelangen, aber der Weg ist nicht so holprig, sei einfach vorsichtig beim Fahren."

"If you simply want to enjoy the view of Háifoss, 15 to 30 minutes is all that you need. You have the option to hike down to the base of Háifoss waterfall. Continue down the gravel trail. The trail makes a turn back towards Háifoss once you reach the Fossá river. "
