"Ceramic plates, mohair scarves, enamel coffee pots and herb-scented soaps are just a few of the things that Rocío Muñoz stocks at Real Fábrica Española, named after the 18th-century royal-warrant factories in the Retiro neighbourhood. Many pieces have been brought back from her visits to small workshops across Spain, a number of which she has saved from closing down. Muñoz’s goal is to protect community economies and the country’s manufacturing heritage. She also curates gift baskets filled with pickles and preserves, jamón, chocolate and aperitifs."

"Another gorgeously curated shop with amazing items from Spain. This shop has everything from food items, olive oil, books, lip gloss, ceramics, slippers, etc. They also have seasonal items so if you visit during Christmas time make sure you try the polvorones (soft round cookies only made during the holidays, and my favourite).
