"Perhaps most famous for the Cannes Film Festival, Cannes is a popular destination for the rich and famous. Filled with luxury hotels, large casino, superyachts and fine dining it is a must to see! If you can time your visit for when the Cannes Film Festival is happening there will be a never ending supply of events happening. There are many things to do in Cannes but the top ones to tick off include walking along La Croisette, see Villa Rothschild, visit the old port and explore the beautiful area of Le Suquet. *TIP: Eat local food at Marche Forville - it is a covered market with seasonal produces and flowers!*"

"Cannes is famous for the Cannes Film Festival that happens there every year. One of the biggest attractions is the mini “Hollywood Walk of Fame” that has handprints of all the celebrities that have visited for the festival. But there is also great food, beautiful beaches, and amazing shopping in Cannes as well. Best Photo Opportunity: Sunset over the harbor in Cannes "
"I've somehow managed to skip Cannes in all the time I've been in France. It's obviously well-known for the film festival and as a celebrity hangout, but otherwise, I've heard it's actually kind of boring (again - not validated by me!) and just more expensive than other places in the Cote d'Azur because it's such a famous place."
