"This park is one of my favorite places in Brooklyn. There's something here for everyone & it's always a place that I take people when they visit. Depending on what kind of person you are, there are a lot of different ways to explore Brooklyn Bridge Park. You can just walk through it, have a picnic, and explore the different pathways to find hidden gems full of beautiful plants, art, & sometimes waterfalls. You can head to the edge by the water and take in the views of the Brooklyn Bridge & Manhattan across the water. If you're looking to be more active, you can rent electric bikes or scooters and bike around the park, or go for a run. There are also areas where you can enjoy ping pong, roller skating, volleyball, basketball, and even (in the summer) kayaking! If you aren't in a rush, you can spend the whole day at this park, enjoying the activities with your friends. There are a lot of hidden spots to explore with lots of bridges and paths. If you are into plants, there are a lot of unique plants & trees to check out. The city of New York used this park to preserve a lot of different types of flora. If you're interested in art, the city installs different art installations that change regularly. You'll see various sculptures and installations throughout the park at any given time. If you want to have a picnic, there are lots of good grassy areas for picnics. It's a great spot to hang out with friends, by yourself, or on a date. The best part...you have beautiful views of Manhattan from everywhere in the park. "
