"A gorgeous abode full of personality where the images do not do it justice.
Situated in between two big Karri trees, it is cosy yet spacious. The house is further surrounded by granite boulders that the host has artfully incorporated into the build, with one of the granite boulders built into and becoming part of the interior. 🪨
As soon as you step into open living space it’s nothing short of gorgeous. It is especially peaceful to step out onto the spacious deck in the early morning breeze, listen out for birds and simply enjoy the serenity before the world fully wakes up. 🌳
The kitchen is well equipped with all the essentials and more, and I had an amazing time cooking breakfast and eating at the dining space one morning. The bathroom also includes a double bath with spa and there is a washing machine and dryer for longer stays. 🛁
The rear of the house is locked and off-limits, and we noticed that space is connected to an extension of the house. At the time that I stayed there, the host Michael happened to be there too working on another treehouse and spent his night there in the rear of the property. We got to meet him and say hello, but usually he won’t be seen around. The place is lovely and very private, all the while being close to key sightseeing locations for your explorations during the day.
it’s a beautiful space to spend a romantic getaway. However, this guest house is able to host up to 4 people if you’d like to stay here with your family or with a few friends. Do note the price per night increases if there is more than 2 guests, but children under 3 are free.
The main bedroom is spacious with a nice bed and situated up half a flight of stars. But just something to note is that apart from the main bedroom, the second sleeping area is situated on a loft accessible via a ladder to go up and down. Please be aware this may not be very safe for people with mobility issues and young children. If using the above loft, do be careful going up and down at night. 🛌
While there is a 3-night minimum stay, contact Michael to discuss if there is a possibility for a 2-night stay dependent on availability.
