"Where Taylor Swift was discovered at 14, The Bluebird Cafe is a must-visit in Nashville. For some events, tickets can be bought in advance on their website. For others, like their open mic nights, I recommend getting there very early, as I was the last one allowed in when I went. You may read "open mic" and assume that you're in for a string of mediocre performances, but that is not the case. I left the one I attended with a number of new artists I was following on Spotify."

A lot of songwriters perform here, so you can have the opportunity to see people perform who are really renowned country music writers. It's worth going to. It's pretty small, so you might want to get there early before they fill up."
