I suggest staying in 12 South area if you're looking for some quiet, but want to be in close proximity to downtown Nashville. I stayed here at the Waverly. It's walking distance to all the boutiques and restaurants mentioned in this guide. It's also a short and easy drive to get to downtown Nashville. The Waverly is a set of loft-style townhomes that you can rent. Kind of like airbnb, but not airbnb. You have a concierge service if you need anything. Each one is a loft-style apartment with two bedrooms, a kitchen, & a living space area. It's great for groups because you could potentially sleep up to 5 people. There's a cycling studio in the same building & a taco place.
