"The Stable Tower, also known as the Marstall Tower or the Work Yard Tower, is one of the remaining defensive towers that are part of the Tallinn Old Town city walls. It was built around 650 years ago. Its name comes from its location next to a large work yard called the Marstall which housed the city's stables. Blacksmiths also worked there, initially shoeing horses but later transitioning to making weapons and eventually casting cannons and church bells for the city.
The Stable Tower is not currently open to the public, but you can still see it from the outside as part of your walk along the Tallinn city wall. "
