The city boasts around 1,200 bakeries. The average bread consumption in France is about 57 kg per year per person. This can vary depending on eating habits, but bread remains a staple food in the French diet And if you ask a French person living abroad what they miss most about France, they’ll probably answer: the bread and the cheese :) I’m sharing here my favorite bakeries, which I visit regularly.
