What people say

"This gorgeous beach is the closest one to the city and very accessible. With pristine sands and stunning waters, jump in for a swim and a snorkel during the warmer months or lay out on the sand to soak in the warmth. 🏖️ Ellen Cove is also located within Middleton Beach. The Ellen Cove boardwalk is a great place for a jog or a stroll and is also wheelchair accessible! Take in the breathtaking scenery of the surrounding landscape where it extends to the beachfront. 🏃 There are also designated picnic areas to set up and relax. If you’d like, you can also bring a picnic blanket with pizza or snacks to sit by the waves. 🧺 There is parking available close by and is surrounded by cafés and restaurants plus accomodation available to book if you want a lovely seaside view from your room. It is possible to see all sorts of wildlife and different seabirds including pelicans and gulls. If you’re lucky, you might be able to catch sight of some dolphins in the waters offshore or even whales during whale season 🐬 (See ⛰️ Adventuring #7 Whale Watching for more information!) Middleton Beach is also part of Two Peoples Bay Nature Reserve. While they are interconnected, they are also two distinct attractions. "
