"Example Reviews: We stayed in a room with a private bath on a balcony overlooking the river, and it could not have been better. This part of the hotel was recently built, and the room had a bedroom, living room a shower entrance to the balcony. Everything seemed brand new, with a modern Japanese design. Our room even came with free drinks like beer, chuhai, etc…The rest of the hotel was, a combination of older Ryokans that have been connected with modern hallways with a nice design flair. There is a beautiful garden with a pond in the middle of them all. Many of the original features including glass windows and old wooden window frames overlooking the garden and other traditional Japanese architecture has been renovated and made classically charming. I cannot speak for those rooms, but the one we had was extremely good."
