What people say

"Marché des Enfants Rouges is one of Paris's oldest covered markets, offering a unique culinary and cultural experience. The market is renowned for its diverse food stalls and eateries, serving a wide array of international and French cuisine. Visitors can savor everything from Moroccan tagines and Japanese bento boxes to French pastries and fresh produce. It has a vibrant and local ambiance, attracting both residents and tourists. It's an ideal spot to immerse yourself in Parisian daily life while enjoying delicious meals at communal tables."
"Founded in 1615 the Marche is the oldest outdoor market in Paris. Named after the orphans of the nearby orphanage/hospital Marguerite de Valois- who were required to wear red uniforms. The neighborhood referred to the children as the red infants, which is where the market got it's name. The market has a vast number of merchants, from food to fresh produce, clothes and gifts. Grab some food from one of delicious eateries and enjoy the ambiance of the outdoor seating terraces."
"This came as a recommendation from an old Airbnb host and it did not disappoint. It's kind of hiding in plain sight in the middle of the historic Marais neighborhood. It's also the oldest food market in Paris dating back to 1615! Now it's mostly produce and stalls featuring food from various immigrant groups within Paris. And it's a good place to find reasonably priced food. I remember eating these amazing Lebanese sandwiches there a few years back. "
