"Example Reviews: This inn used to be the summer home of a very wealthy merchant, founder of the modern Mitsubishi group. It is huge, with a number of old wooden buildings which are joined in a tasteful way by modern corridors and newer buildings. Our room was enormous with a view over what must be the most beautiful view of any inn in Japan. The bath which draws water from a natural hot spring is very nice, without being luxurious. Breakfast and dinner is taken in a separate dining area and the food on the whole is very good. The staff were very responsive and were committed to making our stay comfortable."
