What people say

"The hike itself is 3.7 miles out and back with around 787ft of elevation gain. The gondola costs 36 CHF round trip for an adult! It operates every 20 minutes (xx:00/ xx:20/ xx:40) for 3 or more people. If busy, every 8 minutes. Don’t be alarmed if there are no attendants there - it’s a self operated gondola!! We were confused when we got there and there was no one there. Hours of Operstion for the Gondola: April: 9.00 am – 10.00 pm (operation is stopped in bad weather) May: 8.00 am – 10.00 pm June - September 7.00 am – 10.00 pm October: 8.00 am – 10.00 pm November - December: 9.00 am – 10.00 pm (operation is stopped in bad weather) PRO TIP: make sure to bring clothes for all kinds of weather as the climate here changes frequently! We had sunshine and rain and hail all within the short period of time we were hiking up here! There is a restaurant at the top of the gondola where you can order traditional Swiss food like Rosti!"

"Technically you can say you have hiked in Lichtenstein if you hike to Saxer Lucke as part of the trail crosses into the country. Come prepared for changes in weather and really watch the predictions because if there is any chance of rain you will like not be able to see this beautiful rock formation at all. "
