Sophia Toomb
"The campsites here just seem to get better and better as you go along the ring road. This one in particular is actually just the parking lot for Skógafoss + the grassy area next to the parking lot. The campsite fee is really just the fee for overnight parking here. Get here a bit earlier for this one and back your camper/car up to the very front of the parking lot where you will have an incredible direct view of Skógafoss. The campsite has decent bathrooms and 1 shower with hot water. After picking the spot where you will park for the night, you can cook your dinner in view of the waterfall, walk up to it, or even walk above the staircase to the right to get a bird's eye view. Cost: ~$13.50 per person + van/car + bathrooms and shower with hot water ($27 total for two people) Parking: Anywhere in the parking lot for Skógafoss where cars are not restricted"
