What people say

Chelsea Papa
"Similar to neighboring towns in Valle d'Itria, Cisternino is a white-washed town with a charming historic center. Take in the views of the surrounding countryside from one of the panoramic viewpoints and stroll through the piazza when it becomes more lively in the evening. Cisternino is known for its barbecuing butchers! Choose your meat (bombette is the local specialty) and watch the butcher barbecue in front of you. The vintage market is held the third Sunday of the month in Palazzetto dello Sport."
"Cute small town sitting on a hill in northern Puglia! Makes for a great lunch stop while exploring the countryside, or a great spot for an ebike tour! (Link below for a great excursion affiliate link)"
"The village has retained its oriental charm with its low houses, hidden courtyards, small stairways, tangle of alleys and small arches."
