"If you make it when the snow is melted you can take a funicular up and climb down a series of WWI tunnels in the mountain. These tunnels were carved by Austrian and Italian troops.
An alternative is just to take the hiking path up. Along the way were many postazioni or stations carved into the rock by soldiers with incredible views.
The path starts right to the right of the Cable Car station. This path is a little rockier than the previous meadow ones.
On the top there is a rifugio where you can buy lunch if you didn’t pack one!
If you are well equipped with ferrata stuff you can take the Austrian Troop path down which is a little tougher and has a piece of via ferrata. "
