"The hostel is an old brick wall building, a former gentlemen’s club. They kept some of the interior and I totally loved the common room with the old sofas and the fireplace. Everything was super clean and the communal kitchen was very spacious. It’s just a two minute walk from the beach and very close to a lot of sights in Newcastle. They also offer free surfboard rental."
