"Dominating the skyline of Porto, the Clérigos Tower stands as an iconic symbol of the city's architectural grandeur and historical significance. Built in the 18th century by Italian architect Nicolau Nasoni, this Baroque masterpiece commands attention with its soaring height and intricate design.
Approaching the Clérigos Tower, visitors are immediately struck by its majestic presence, rising proudly above the surrounding rooftops. As they ascend the spiral staircase, a sense of anticipation builds, culminating in breathtaking panoramic views of Porto and the Douro River from the observation deck at the top.
But the Clérigos Tower is more than just a vantage point—it's a testament to Porto's rich cultural heritage and enduring spirit. From its role as a symbol of faith and devotion to its function as a beacon of enlightenment and inspiration, the tower continues to captivate and awe visitors from around the world, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts and memories."

"Torre dos Clérigos is a Baroque church from the 18th century. It is located on the north side of the river in the centre. You can go inside but I saw it just from the outside so I don´t know how it looks from inside in real life but as you can see in the photos it will be worth it. If you are architecture lovers you can visit its website below and learn more.
Next to the church is an outdoor bar named Base with a really nice garden where you can relax or enjoy a picnic with your friends. "
