Karlovac

"This city is usually missed while going toward the sea coast, but if you want a nice daily excursion with different experience from Croatia, you could enter the city of Karlovac, which hide cute little gems to be visited, as Old own Dubovac, a fortress with a museum. It is reccomended to visit it at the sunset time for the best views. You could visit the Karlovac Star, a city centre, which has the best view with drone (as inside you don't have the feeling you are in the star shaped place), the city has a lot of parks and a huge garden divided into three different architectural shapes. There is also freshwater aquarium on the river Korana, city museums and if you visit the city in the summer time, you could get a chance to swim in Foginovo, if you had never tried to swim in the river. All four rivers of the city have places to swim (there are two points for swimming in estuaries, you could say that you swam in 4 rivers in one day :D), but mentioned one is the most beautiful. Four kilometres outside of the city there could also be found a War museum as in the history this city was a point of defense. Fifteen kilometres from the city there are excursion with the wooden boat "Zora" (reservations are needed to be made). There are also possibilities for thematic tourist tours if you are willing to have a guide. Karlovac is the origin from the Karlovačko beer, the city has also their beer days festival, with many interesting venues happening there. "
