"The Church of the Virgin Mary Under the Chain, also known as the Church of Our Lady Beneath the Chain, holds a rich history dating back to the 12th century, having been established by the Knights Hospitaller, also known as the Knights of Malta. The church's intriguing name originates from its historical role, as the Knights used a chain to obstruct boats on the nearby Vltava River, ensuring that they paid the necessary customs duties. Today, the church offers mass services every Tuesday at 5:30 PM and on Sundays at 10:00 AM. During times when services are not in session, visitors are welcome to explore the charming garden courtyard. They can also peer through the barred gate to glimpse the interior of the church. An additional highlight for visitors is the on-site handmade jewelry shop, AleAle, where unique pieces can be purchased, further enriching the experience of this historically significant site."

"En 1153, el segundo rey checo de los príncipes de Přemysl, el primero con el derecho hereditario de la corona checa, Vladislav, se casó con la virgen Judit.
