Torino is a personal favorite. Home to Fiat and one of the world's best Egyptian Musuems. Chocolate lover's heaven, Gianduia was created here, using the local hazelnuts to stretch the chocolate. It inspired Nutella.

The city has 18 km of covered walkways and wonderful shopping. The food is incredible.  It was home to the King of Savoia. He lived there when  Italy became united and it was the first capital of Italy.

The Market of Torino is one of the largest in Europe. There is a historic building and a huge piazza filled with stands. 
Not just food, I also adore the flea market, Balon and the grand Balon.

Caffè Fiorio

A Torinese Classic! This bar and restaurant has been open since 1780, you can still peak the original decorations in the back. The red celvet with gold tones is stunning. 

Their coffee is Lavazza and best enjoyed at the marble early 1900s banco. 

But the real treat here is their gelato, made with a special recipe since the end of WWII, it’s a local favourite !

My favorite flavours: Bunet, torrone and zenzero!

Dating to 1780, this café was once at the heart of artistic, intellectual and political life in the city. If those walls could talk! Today, you can expect friendly and warm old-school service from waiters in white shirts and black   

Great to stop in for a stand-up coffee like the locals and always important to have a sweet treat with it (this place is off the chain for little sweet treats) - but better still serving an impressive lineup of aperitivo nibbles.

Founded in 1780, the Caffè Fiorio is one of the most famous historical café in Turin. Here you can delight at some of the best ice cream and hot chocolate in town. 

This historic cafe-bar opened in 1780 and continues to serve the best, most traditional cappuccino and macchiato along with fresh, all-natural gelato.

One of my go to places for gelato! There are two locations, also in the Piazza Grande Madre.
