"This is a cute little rustic cake/tart shop that my friend brought me to. I was intrigued by this particular tart: Toddy Palm Meringue Tart. It is a tart with palm custard and salted chocolate. It is my first time having palm fruit in a pastry and it works so well. The meringue is fluffy and not too sweet, there's that nice crunch from the biscuit base and a rich savoury fudge to balance the freshness of the soft fruit. It is probably one of the most unique and delicious pastry I had this year. "
