"Gradac is one of the cleanest rivers in Europe. You can reach it by public transportation, taking the train from Belgrade or by bus.
It is an excellent option for a day tour from Belgrade or Novi Sad. Gradac is the place I would call my friends to visit for a chill day in nature on the weekend. Depending on the viewpoints you want to visit, a hiking tour can range from 5 to 20 km.
In my blog post, I posted two routes that I took. The first one is a longer hike I created after researching online. The second one was shorter and was done with the Explore Serbia agency.
Bring enough snacks for the hike and save some space in your stomach to have a nice meal in Valjevo if you can. There is a family-owned restaurant near the river called Skok po Skok, where you'll find amazing Serbian food after the hike.
When to go: From April to October."
