Make sure to stop In Yanchep National Park if you come from Perth. It's only a 50' drive. Have a picnic and spot the western grey kangaroos and birds, or stroll through the koala boardwalk and learn about this native Aussie icon. how many koalas will you see? . 3. Visit lake Thetis in Cervantes. The lake is one of only a few places in the world with living marine stromatolites. . 4. Visit the Sea Lion colony of Essex Rocks, just a 20 minute boat ride away from Jurien Bay, or travel a bit further to Fishermans Islands to swim with these beautiful, friendly creatures. . 5. One hour from Cervantes you find Lancelin. The ideal place to spot dolphins, score delicious crayfish, go on a sand dunes tour or zoom downhill on a sandboard.
