"Does the place live up to the hype? Probably not. But it's an experience worth having. The natural travertine pools have been closed down, so you can only walk up and down the artificial travertine pools that look pretty much identical. Wear open footwear that you can take off while entering the pools. Be careful, the base of some pools can be quite slippery.
It gets extremely crowded, so near the top of the travertine pools is an open area from where you can enjoy the sunset and watch the sun set behind the mountains."

"Amazing place that worth at least a day while you travel in Turkey.
Best suggestions:
- avoid hot hours,
- plan enough time to visit every part of the site and if you want you can also rent a quad or little shuttle to move around the place
- bring change clothes
- sunglasses and sun cream ALWAYS
- do not miss Cleopatra’s pools "

"Also known as the “Cotton Castle”. These stunning white calcium travertines have long been one of the most famous postcard views of Turkey."
