"A busy, central urban beach with a high occupancy rate. Windy and with moderate waves. Adjacent to Riazor beach, it is only separated from it by the well-known Rompeolas. Suitable for surfing and all kinds of beach sports, such as beach volleyball.
Next to Santa Margarita Park, stone fights were held on Riazor and Orzán beaches, where people entertained themselves by dodging the waves; they are the scene of the childhood games of Picasso and his friends Constantino Sardina Muíños and Antonio Pardo Reguera. On the first of these sandbanks he discovered female nudity, looking through the keyhole of a bathing hut."

"Right between Riazor and Matadero beach is Orzan. I really liked this city beach because I could go surfing whenever I wanted. We played beach volleball with ESN or went swimming. There are benches and tables on a big rock so you can sit and read a book or something."
