"Morning Glory, perched in the heart of Little Italy, California, is a cherished retreat for breakfast and brunch lovers. This eatery is especially celebrated for its inventive interpretations of breakfast classics, and a comprehensive cocktail menu. The establishment's ambiance strikes a chord with its perfect balance of relaxed yet chic decor. Raw brick walls merge with modern metal light fixtures to create an attractive juxtaposition. The assortment of wooden and metal tables adds to the warm and inviting milieu that is distinctly Morning Glory. Their menu is an ode to creativity, reimagining traditional breakfast and brunch staples such as pancakes, waffles, eggs, and sandwiches. The dishes, each offering a unique twist, are complemented by a full bar that serves a selection of well-crafted cocktails, beer, and wine. Among the menu's highlights is the Morning Glory Fried Rice, a popular dish that has patrons returning time and time again. This unique brunch offering blends savory fried rice with the warmth of breakfast ingredients, creating a fusion dish that hits all the right notes. Other standouts include the blueberry-laden Morning Glory Pancakes, Waffles accompanied by bacon and maple syrup, Eggs Benedict with a side of Canadian bacon, and the hearty Breakfast Burrito packed with eggs, bacon, cheese, and salsa. The cocktail selection at Morning Glory deserves a mention in its own right. The eponymous Morning Glory cocktail combines gin, lemon, and elderflower into a refreshing mix, while the classic Bloody Mary and Mimosa feature traditional blends of their respective ingredients. Patrons should note that Morning Glory does not take reservations, hence arriving early or being prepared for a wait, especially during the busy weekends, is advisable. Price-wise, expect appetizers to fall within the $10-15 range, entrees from $15-25, and cocktails between $12-18. All in all, Morning Glory offers an exceptional breakfast or brunch experience. From its eclectic, delicious food offerings, including the must-try Morning Glory Fried Rice, to excellent service and a friendly atmosphere, it's a culinary destination you can't afford to miss. "
"4/5. AMAZING ambiance. This is the reason the lines are long. Some people think it's over-hyped, and yes, the food isn't stellar, but still enjoyable I tried the lobster benedict, German pancake, and the souffle pancakes. The egg for the lobster benedict was cooked perfectly and the lobster was pretty tasty although the lobster pieces could have been larger. The soufflé pancakes were very fluffy and had a great texture. The pancake needed some additional flavor to make it special, maybe some fruit sauce. The German pancakes were surprisingly good. The inside was very eggy, and surprisingly savory. "

"The most instgramed spot in San Diego has to be Morning Glory. This boujie and super extra spot is for those seeking the perfect photo opp. The food a drink here lives up to the hype, expext delicous cocktails, and special menu items perfect to show off. There are no reservations allowed and the line can be brutal, 3+ hours sometimes. We HIGHLY recommend skipping this on the weekend and going early midweek.
