"This place is really worth it, specially if you've never seen a wild seal! Bare in mind, that as it's nature, you might not see seals that day. Nonetheless, I must say that all the times I've been there, I've seen them, from further or closer, but they were there.
Recently they installed a parking fee on site, so you will need to pay for parking the car in an automatic cashier.
Oh, and be silent when you are there, and don't approach too much to seals. Always respect nature. "

"Alongside Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon and the Vatnsnes Peninsula, Ytri Tunga is the most reliable place in Iceland to see seals.
Just offshore, on some rocks protruding from the water, at least a few individuals from the local colony can be seen hauling out all throughout the year. The best time to see them, however, is in the summer months."

"This is the perfect spot for wildlife enthusiasts. This beach provides an opportunity to witness seals in their natural habitat. Aside from the seals, it is also a great place for bird watching, with many seabirds that fly around this area. "
