"These ruins are easily accessible by bus from Huanchaco. Chan Chan is a pre-Colombian city that was once the seat of the ancient Chimu civilization before it fell to the Incas. The ruins are all built in adobe and remain very in tact, the detail is astonishing.
I would recommend getting a guide to help explain what you are looking it. I didn't get a guide and ended up regretting it. "
