This amazing, penultimate 24-day itinerary was a #wanderlist celebration trip we planned and traveled, as it had always been a dream of ours to spend over 3-weeks touring an area of the world we had yet to experience so to try to gain a greater immersion into the culture. As the capital of Cambodia, Phnom Penh is likely where you’ll arrive when flying in from most neighboring countries. Despite being the capital city, you can see the majority of the main sites over 2 days in Phnom Penh.

When I think of Cambodia, I picture Angkor Wat. However, now that I’ve been lucky enough to travel to Phnom Penh, I’ve learned much more about Cambodia’s history and all that this beautiful country has to offer. This capital city provides affordable yet luxurious accommodations, a vibrant food scene, and history that everyone should learn about.
