"A beautiful area full of stunning views, we had panoramic views from up top along the side of the highway as well as at a lookout called Belvedere de Meyreste that required a short hike through the brush. The water is aquamarine blue to the right at the man-made Lake St. Croix and a more natural greenish color to the left where it flows down from the mountains."

"While anyone can visit Verdon Gorge and partake in other activities like kayaking and hiking, I highly recommend the canyoning activity if it's available. We did aquatic hikes, free jumping, and light swimming. The drive through the scenic spots is also something I'd highly recommended!"

"The Gorges du Verdon is Europe's largest canyon and should definitely be at the top of your Provence bucket list.
The waters are turquoise blue and you can spend your day exploring the canyon and the beaches. Totally worth the detour! "
