This itinerary is for three full days in El Chalten, the small town nestled in the mountains of Patagonia. This place is the perfect spot for adventurers, backpackers, hikers, and really people who love a great view! Below you'll find a three day itinerary with each day including a day-hike, a back-up option, and meal ideas.

This was our first adventurous trip as a couple where we really toured around Argentina to try and see as much of it as we could in two weeks whilst really trying to get a feel for the places we visited. In this itinerary, you'll spend two weeks covering these spots in Argentina: -> El Chalten (Patagonia!) -> El Calafate (& the Glacier) -> Ushuaia (Walk With The Penguins!) -> Buenos Aires (The Famous City) This itinerary covers each day & outlines where to stay, where to eat, and what to do. We did this exact itinerary when we visited in 2021 so you'll have our input and can be sure it's the perfect itinerary to see as much of Argentina in two weeks whilst still enjoying as much as possible during your stay in each of those places.

El Chaltén is a small mountain village located at the foot of the majestic Andes and is best known for the Fitz Roy mountain. It is Argentina's national trekking capital. Various hikes lead to spectacular locations with views of turquoise lakes, glaciers and iconic mountain peaks.
